Viet Nam folk music group heads to Japan
Members of the Viet Nam Folk Music Group from Bong Sen Folk Music Theatre and Ho Chi Minh Musical Institute are on a performance tour in Japan from October 1st to 21st.
The tour is made at the invitation of chairman of the Japan-Viet Nam Peace and Friendship Promotional Council (JVPF) and former Prime Minister Mirayama Tomiichi.
Proceeds from the performances in 10 Japanese towns will go to Agent Orange victims in northern Thai Binh province.
This is the twelfth time that JVPF has asked the group to perform in the country.-(VNA)
