Deputy PM meets Singaporean Education Minister
Deputy Prime Minister and Education and Training Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan received visiting Singaporean Education Minister Tharma Shanmingaratnam in Ha Noi on October 9.
Nhan and the Singaporean minister exchanged views on experiences and outstanding education issues of each country as well as how to expand bilateral cooperation in the field.
The two officials witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on construction of a high-quality training centre.
Signatories were Director of the Vietnamese National Institute for Education Management, Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Giao and Director of Singapore’s National Education Institute, Prof. Lee Sing Kong.-(VNA)
