Viet Nam, China legislative body leaders meet
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tong Thi Phong met Vice Chairman of the Law Committee of Chinese National People’s Congress (NPC) Hong Hu in Ha Noi on October 31.
The Vietnamese NA vice chairwoman said the two legislative bodies should increase delegation exchanges and work on law making relating to drugs and corruption.
During their week-long stay in Viet Nam starting from Oct. 30, the NPC delegation is scheduled to hold talks with a delegation of the Viet Nam NA Law Committee, work with leaders of the NA Committee for Social Affairs and the Ministries of Public Security and Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs.
They will also visit central Thua Thien-Hue province and Ho Chi Minh City. (VNA)
