Viet Nam, Russia boost media cooperation


Viet Nam and Russia have pledged to boost cooperation in publishing, press and mass communications in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding signed recently.

Signatories were Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Do Qui Doan and Vice President of the Russian Press and Communications Agency Kozlov Vladimir Sergreevich.

Under the MoU, the two sides will create favourable conditions to facilitate cooperation between press circles, distribution companies and publishing houses of the two countries.

The two sides will also implement joint publishing projects such as translating books into Vietnamese or Russian, distributing books in both countries, and work to facilitate operation of businesses of the two countries in this field.

Encouraging businesses of the two countries to joint international fairs and exhibitions and exchanging experts in this field will also be part of their cooperation.-(VNA)
