General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Nong Duc Manh received a delegation from the Democratic Left Alliance of Poland led by its President Wojciech Olejniczak in Ha Noi on December 4.
General Secretary Manh welcomed the Polish delegation’s visit, describing it evidence of good relations between the two Parties and people of Viet Nam and Poland. He said he hoped the ties will develop further in the future.
Olejniczak said he was pleased to witness big changes in Viet Nam, and spoke highly of the Vietnamese Communist Party’s achievements and experiences in leading the revolutionary cause and renewal process.
He pledged to do his utmost to boost friendly and cooperative ties between the two Parties and people of the two nations.
The same day, Olejniczak held talks with Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, Tran Van Hang.
The Polish leftists visited a number of economic and cultural establishments in northwestern Quang Ninh province and Ho Chi Minh City, where they met with local authorities.-(VNA).
