Infrastructure projects seek Kuwait investment
(VNA) – Viet Nam is calling for investment from Kuwait Foundation into two rural infrastructure projects, which have been approved by the Prime Minister, for the 2008-2010 period. The foundation is asked to provide 12 million USD as official development assistance to the 14.2 million USD to develop infrastructure facilities in central Ha Tinh province. Meanwhile, a 19 million USD project in Pac Nam district, northern mountainous Bac Kan province, will be able to receive 15.97 million USD from the foundation. Viet Nam will also ask the Kuwait Foundation for financial support to a road building project in northern Dien Bien province.
