Viet Nam, Cuba to heighten economic ties
Nam Dinh (VNA) – Viet Nam and Cuba will continue to strengthentheir cooperation in economy and trade, said Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Jesus Aise Sotolongo at a ceremony commemorating the 49th National Day of Cuba.
The special rapport between the two Parties and States has developed, but their ties in economy and trade is still modest and should be raised to match their political ties, the Cuban diplomat said in Nam Dinh on December 28.
Participants at the event recalled their memories of the cooperation between Cuban and Vietnamese people during their past struggle for independence as well as in the present national construction.
