Singaporean Air Force Chief visits Viet Nam
Ha Noi (VNA) – Singaporean and Vietnamese Armed Forces have agreed to continue cooperating on search and rescue missions, and human resource development, including language training.
The agreements were made during the Air Force Chief of the Singapore Armed Forces Major General Ng Chee Khern’s visit to Viet Nam from March 9-12.
On March 10, the Singaporean Air Force Chief met with the General Staff Vice Chief of the Viet Nam People’s Army, Lieutenant General Tran Quang Khue.
Earlier, the Singaporean general and his entourage held a working session with officers from the Air Defence and Air Force.
During the visit, they paid tribute to the late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum, met senior officers of the military zone 7 command and brigade B71.
They also visited the Air Defence-Air Force Museum and historic sites in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
