Vietnam, Morocco agree to expand cooperation
Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese and Moroccan delegates to a recent meeting of the Vietnam-Morocco Joint Committee on Cooperation held in Rabat, Morocco, reaffirmed their willingness to expand cooperation to match their potential.
At the meeting, the first of its kind so far, the Vietnamese delegation, headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Dao Viet Trung, and the Moroccan delegation, headed by State Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, discussed possibilities for trade exchange, organisation of market research groups as well as a joint business council.
The two sides agreed to accelerate activities and initiatives to boost cooperation in economy, trade, finance, culture, science and technology.
During the working visit to Morocco, the Vietnamese diplomat paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Abbas El Fassi, met with Minister of Industry, Commerce and New Technologies Ahmed Chami and worked with the Moroccan Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Services.
