Hanoi (VNA)- Vietnam and China have looked deeply into outstanding problems emerging in the planting of border markers to find proper solutions to speed up the process.
The meeting of the Joint Vietnam-China Committee on Land-Border Delineation and Marker Planting at the chair level, which closed in Beijing on May 23 after a 14-day sitting, was described as having a friendly, frank and open atmosphere.
The two sides agreed to rush groups responsible for border delineation and marker planting to speed up their work tempo in an effort to meet the deadline.
They agreed to hold the next meeting in Vietnam in June.
