State President wraps up Austria visit
Vienna (VNA) – State President Nguyen Minh Triet, his wife and entourage left Vienna on June 4, concluding a three-day State visit to Austria at the invitation of President Heinz Fisher.
Previously, President Triet and his wife visited the IMC-Krems University in Krems city, which is cooperating with the Hue University in training tourism management and entertainment technology graduates.
The State leader praised the cooperation between the two universities, saying that it will help Vietnam train international-standard managerial staff, thus boosting sustainable development of local tourism.
He said he hoped the university would continue other training programmes for Vietnamese students.
During his Austrian visit, President Triet granted interviews to Austria Television, and the Kurier and Die Presse newspapers.
On the evening of June 4 (local time), President Triet and his entourage will arrive in Oslo , beginning a State-level visit to Norway at the invitation of King Harald V.
