Vietnam intensifies cultural exchange with Hungary, Italy
Rome (VNA) – A delegation from the Party Central Committee’s Council for Literary and Art Theories and Criticism says their cultural exchange visits to Hungary and Italy have been successful.
The delegation, in the countries from May 26-June 5, met with officials from Hungary ’s Ministry of Education and Culture and Writers’ Association to converse about trends of literature and arts criticism and creation.
The Hungarian Writers’ Association leaders suggested a plan to translate Vietnamese literary works and publish some Hungarian magazines.
The idea was applauded by the Vietnamese delegation, who then discussed a coordination plan with the Hungarian side.
In Italy , the Vietnamese delegation worked with officials from the host country’s Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. The two sides shared a common idea of exchange of culture and arts between the two countries.
The Vietnamese delegation also had a working session with publishers in Milan city.
