Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Colombia Tran Thanh Huan presented his credentials to the host country’s President Alvaro Uribe Velez in Bogota on June 25.

At a reception after the presentation ceremony, Ambassador Huan pledged to exert all efforts to boost friendship and cooperation between the two countries, particularly in economic and trade cooperation.

President Alvaro Uribe Velez said he was very interested in Vietnam ’s experiences in national renewal, developing the market economy following the socialist orientation and adopting Ho Chi Minh’s philosophies and approach to social, cultural and political development.
