Ottawa university shares law-training experiences
A delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Political and Administrative Academy worked with lecturers from the University of Ottawa ’s Faculty of Law, in Ottawa, Canada on Sept. 22 on cooperation in civil law training for public workers.
Ottawa (VNA) - The leaders of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa and the Ho Chi Minh National Political and Administrative Academy delegation agreed to work together towards a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in exchange of lecturers and the training in civil law and common law in Canada for Vietnamese students.
The Vietnamese academy’s vice director Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dang Thanh thanked the Canadian partner for sharing experiences in the work. He said he hoped for more lecture tours by Canadian professors and doctors to the Ho Chi Minh National Politic and Administrative Academy.
Later the same day, the Vietnamese delegation visited the School of Public Service in Ottawa to study Canada’s experiences and training programmes for public servants and government officials.
The HCM Politic and Administrative Academy is Vietnam’s leading establishment in training officials for managerial positions in service of the national construction and international integration.
