Party chief hosts reception to mark Party’s 79th anniversary
Hanoi (VNA) – Each and every victory the Vietnamese revolution has reaped can be attributed to the combination of efforts, determination, dynamism and creativeness of the entire political system and people and leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, according to the Party General Secretary.
The party chief, Nong Duc Manh, made this statement during a reception he hosted for representatives of government ministries and social and political organisations to mark the occasion of the 79 th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi on Feb. 2.
He said he hoped that the Vietnam Fatherland Front, central agencies and socio-political organisations and authorities at all levels would continue to promote the tradition of national unity to work alongside the Party in surmounting the difficulties and challenges it faces on the road to prosperity.
Representatives of mass organisations voiced their confidence that the Party would lead the country into a new period of development.
