PM Dung welcomed in Kuwait
VOV - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrived at Kuwait international airport on March 10, beginning an official three-day visit to Kuwait at the invitation Prime Minister Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He was welcomed at the airport by the minister and senior advisor to the PM, Dr Salem Jabor Al-Hamad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, senior officials of the Government Office and diplomats of the two countries.
A welcoming ceremony for Mr Dung was held solemnly in front of the Bayan Palace by PM Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Shortly after that the two leaders held talks, focusing on measures to increase bilateral cooperation, especially in investment, trade, energy and agriculture.
This is the first visit to Kuwait by a Vietnamese Government leader since the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1976.
