Canadian MPs, businessmen awarded prestigious medal
The awardees included Honourable President of the Canada-Vietnam Friendship Association Giang Tu Binh, Canada Federal MP Patrick Brown, Tony Ruprecht, MP for Ontario State and Denzil Wong, member of the Toronto City Council.
VUFO President Vu Xuan Hong said that the four Canadians have made practical contributions to strengthening mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Canada over the past years.
On behalf of the awardees, Tony Ruprecht affirmed to contribute more to the relationship between the two peoples.
A friendly meeting between the visiting Canadian business delegation and the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association (VCFA) took place in Hanoi on the same day.
VCFA President Nguyen Duy Quy expressed his belief that the visit will provide Canadian businesses with many cooperation opportunities in Vietnam .
He affirmed that the VCFA is ready to create every condition for Canadian enterprises to do business in the country./.
