Vietnam attends Bangladesh Francophone Week
VNA - The Vietnamese embassy is joining the embassies of other Francophone countries in Bangladesh to organise the 2009 Francophone Week in the country’s capital Dhaka and other localities from March 16-23.
A series of cultural and social activities are being held during the week-long festival, including a French-language contest, book and photo exhibitions, French music shows and a French film week.
The organising board has also published leaflets introducing the cultural characteristics of Francophone member countries.
The annual Francophone Week is not only a festival for member countries, but has become an international cultural activity that attracts huge numbers of local residents./.
