PM receives outgoing Thai ambassador
VNA - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed his pleasure at the positive developments in Vietnam and Thailand’s mutual friendship and multi-faceted cooperation over the years while receiving the outgoing Thai ambassador, Kittiphong na Ranong in Hanoi on May 18.
PM Dung spoke highly of the ambassador’s contributions to boosting political, diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries during his time working in Vietnam.
He also said that he hoped the Thai diplomat would continue to play a leading role in promoting links between Vietnam and Thailand in the future, no matter what position he takes up next.
For his part, ambassador Kittiphong na Ranong confirmed that he would continue to help to boost Vietnamese and Thai relations./.
