Vietnam-Thailand Exhibition Industry forum opens in Hanoi
VOVNEWS 25/8/2009 - A Vietnam-Thailand Exhibition Industry forum was jointly held in Hanoi on August 25 by the Thailand Exhibition and Convention Bureau, the Export Promotion Bureau and the Exhibition Association.
The forum aimed to promote Thailand’s images and strengthen ties between the two countries.
Vietnam and Thailand has established long-standing business and cultural relations. In 2007, Thailand ranked 9th in the world and 3rd in Southeast Asia in terms of business investments in Vietnam.
The Thai government hopes to increase cooperation with Vietnam through regional and international forums like ASEAN and the Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy.
