Iran marks Islamic Revolution Victory in Hanoi
VNA 10/02/2010 - The Iranian Ambassador to Vietnam , Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi, hosted a reception in Hanoi on Feb. 10 to mark the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory.
Ghavam Shahidi noted with pleasure that since the revolution’s victory, Iran achieved progress in various fields, especially in high technology.
The diplomat expressed his delight at positive developments of the bilateral relationship in politics, economy, trade and culture. The Iranian Government and people always place importance on their traditional friendship with the Vietnamese people, he added.
Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Doan Xuan Hung said the Vietnamese people follow closely and evaluate the huge achievements the Iranian people have made during their national construction and development process over the past 31 years.
Hung said he believed that with the potentials and efforts from both sides, multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Iran will further develop for the sake of mutual interests of their people.
