The Deputy PM said Viet Nam always treasures the development of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Finland.
He congratulated Mr. Pekka Hyvönen on being recently offered the Friendship Medal by the Vietnamese State President.
Mr. Pekka Hyvönen said the Finnish Government attaches importance to developing ties with Viet Nam in various fields, especially economy, culture and environment.
The ambassador pledged that he will make more active contribution to the bilateral relations.
Ttwo-way trade between Vietnam and Finland in the first quarter of 2011 rose 15% year on year to US $64.4 million.
