Mr. Nhan also suggested that the Council should early establish working groups for enterprise members to share experience, put forth pilot initiatives, and expand cooperative models.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his belief that the Council would make practice contributions to further improve investment environment in Viet Nam towards environmentally-friendly trend.
Mr. Gary Shutz said that sustainable development would benefit the community socially and economically and maitain Viet Nam as a competitive market in the long term, noting that he will work on initiatives for sustainable development in Viet Nam.
The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) was launched on December 17, 2010, following a four-year partnership between the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) to promote sustainable development in the host country.
