Viet Nam offers condolences to Cuba
(VNA - 06/09/2011) - State President Truong Tan Sang on September 6 sent a message of condolence to President of the State Council and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raul Castro Ruz over the death of Julio Casas Regueiro, Vice President of the State Council and Minister of Defence.
On the same day, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Hua Ngoc Thuan paid tribute and offered sympathy to Julio Casas Regueiro’s family at the Cuban Consulate General in the city.
The Foreign Service Department, the Union of Friendship Organisations, the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association and other organisations and agencies in Ho Chi Minh City sent wreaths to pay tribute to the Cuban leader./.
