Leaders congratulate China on National Day
In their messages extended to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and State President Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People’s Congress Wu Bangguo and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, the Vietnamese leaders highly valued achievements made by the Chinese people over the past 62 years, especially the 30-year implementation of the reform and open-door policy.
Expressing pleasure with the continuous development of the Viet Nam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, the Vietnamese leaders affirmed that the Vietnamese Party, State and people consistently esteem the traditional friendship with China and are ready, together with the Chinese side, to make tireless efforts to consolidate and further develop the friendly neighbourliness and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
On the occasion, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh extended greetings to his Chinese counterpart, Yang Jiechi./.
