Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son attends banquet to celebrate 33rd anniversary of Islamic Revolution’s Victory Day
(VNA-11/02/2012) - The Iranian Embassy held a banquet in Hanoi on Feb. 10 to celebrate the 33 rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s Victory Day (Feb. 11).
Speaking at the banquet, the Iranian Ambassador to Viet Nam Seyed Javad Ghavam Shahidi said that over the past 33 years, despite a wide range of difficulties and challenges, Iran has recorded achievements in several areas such as science, technology, economics and social development.
He added that he is very pleased at the positive way bilateral relations between Viet Nam and Iran have developed.
Viet Nam ’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son praised Iran ’s achievements over the past 33 years, especially in its economy.
He also highlighted Iran ’s efforts to become the world’s 18 th largest economy.
The Deputy FM finished up by stating that he believes the Iranian people will continue to prosper and bilateral cooperation between both countries will flourish in the future./.
