Both sides should closely coordinate to deploy the agreements reached by their high-ranking leaders, striving to double the previously set two-way trade value of US $5 billion by 2015. Last year, the figure stood at US $4.6 billion.

PM Dung urged the two countries to beef up cooperation in agriculture, fisheries, culture and education.

He believed that Ambassador Mayerfas would effectively contribute to lifting up the bilateral ties to new heights.

The PM took the occasion to applaud Indonesia’ recent achievements which, he said, helped heighten the neighboring country’s role and prestige on the international arena.

For his part, Ambassador Mayerfas affirmed he would spare no effort to boost the traditional friendship and friendly cooperation between the two countries.

The diplomat hoped both sides would step up exchanges of delegations to share valuable development experiences.
