State President extends condolences to Russia
(VGP – 05/04/2012) - State President Truong Tan Sang on April 5 sent his condolences to Russian President D. Medvedev over the serious air crash in the Siberian region on April 2.
Failure to de-ice a Russian passenger plane before takeoff was the most likely cause of a crash in Siberia that killed 31 people, said federal investigators.
The UTair ATR 72-200 craft, carrying 43 people, tilted to its right side and then sharply left as it crashed shortly after taking off in near-freezing temperatures in Tyumen, western Siberia./.
