Cambodian King to visit Viet Nam
Viet Nam and Cambodia established diplomatic relations on June 24, 1967. Over the past years, the bilateral relations have been flourishing both in depth and width. Both sides have maintained exchange of delegations at all levels.
Bilateral cooperation in economics, trade and investment has also been developing quickly. The two-way trade turnover reached over US$1.2 billion in 2007, then surging to US$2.8 billion last year.
The two countries strive to raise the trade volume to US$5 billion within the next five years. At present, Viet Nam has over more than 100 projects licensed in Laos with total investment capital of over US$2.2 billion.
