Condolences to Cuba, Haiti over hurricane losses
(VNA - 30/10/2012) - Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung have cabled messages of sympathy to First Secretary of the Cuba Communist Party and President of the Councils of State and Ministers Raul Castro over the great losses in human and property caused by hurricane Sandy.
Also on October 29, President Truong Tan Sang and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung sent condolences to Haiti’s President Joseph Michel Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Salvador Lamothe over the damages after Sanday swept the country.
The same day, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh extended condolences to his Cuban and Haitian counterparts.
