Deputy PM Nhan visits Hungary

(Vietnamplus - 30/07/2013) - Viet Nam is willing to create favourable conditions for Hungarian businesses to invest in the Southeast Asian country, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan said during talks with his host Semjen Zsolt in Budapest on July 29.
 
The Deputy PM is making an official visit to the European country from July 27-31 at the invitation of his Hungarian counterpart Semjen Zsolt.

For his part, Deputy PM Semjen Zsolt affirmed Hungary continues to consider Viet Nam an important partner in its international assistance policy and is willing to strengthen cooperation with Viet Nam in the fields of the two countries’ needs and strength.

Hungary will continue to create favourable for the Vietnamese community to reside and do business in the country, he said.

The two sides discussed measures to further bilateral ties on the basis of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries over the past 60 years.

They also examined how to improve the effectiveness of the Joint Committee on Economic Cooperation as well as the implementation of Hungarian-funded projects in Viet Nam, strengthen education-training cooperation with focus on human resources training on atomic power and develop the Viet Nam-Hungary University into an advanced training centre in Viet Nam.

The two sides sought ways to strengthen experience sharing in science-technology management and accelerate negotiations for the early signing of an agreement on cooperation on training, research and technological management in utilising atomic energy for peaceful purpose between the two governments.

They also discussed how to deepen agricultural cooperation and encourage cultural and tourism ties.

The two sides agreed to further strengthen collaboration at the UN and other international forums.

The two leaders witnessed the signing ceremony of an exchange programme between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the Hungarian Human Resources Ministry for the 2013-2015 period.
