He suggested the Korean President continue giving more attention to increasing bilateral cooperation, pushing up Free Trade Agreement negotiations, helping Vietnamese goods penetrate into the RoK’s market, increasing the official development assistance (ODA) and encouraging Korean businesses to invest in Viet Nam.
The Vietnamese leader said he hoped that the RoK will re-receive Vietnamese laborers to work in the country in the near future.
For her side, President Park Geun-Hye highly valued the efforts the Vietnamese Government has made in promoting socio-economic development, especially in poverty reduction.
She believed that a Joint Declaration that is about to sign during the visit will be a landmark in the two nations’ cooperation.
The President pledged to make it easier for Vietnamese goods to be sold in her country and urge relevant agencies to quickly reach an agreement with the Vietnamese side on continuing to recruit Vietnamese workers and enhancing cooperation in science-technology and security-defense./.
