PM appreciates Japanese Ambassador’s role

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung spoke highly of Ambassador Tanizaki Yasuaki’s contributions to the development of the Viet Nam-Japan strategic partnership during a reception for the outgoing diplomat on Tuesday.

The Government chief affirmed that Viet Nam always attaches importance to deepening the relations with Japan, particularly economic linkages for mutual benefits.

He also called on the two countries to coordinate closely in Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations.

Viet Nam is ready to expand agricultural cooperation with Japan, said PM Dung.

Ambassador Tanizaki Yasuaki said the outcomes of the bilateral ties have helped consolidate the friendship and trust between the two nations.

The diplomat suggests both sides should enhance cooperation in agriculture and national defense and security as well as coordination at regional and international forums./.
