President welcomes Gazprom CEO
(Vietnamplus - 04/10/2013) - There is no obstacle in the comprehensive strategic partnership as well as energy cooperation between Viet Nam and Russia, said President Truong Tan Sang during his reception for Russian Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller in Ha Noi on October 4.
The president hailed the outcomes of cooperation between Gazprom and the Viet Nam National Oil and Gas Group, especially the two sides’ commitments reached during his visit to Russia in 2012.
He asked the two groups to speed up the implementation of the agreed projects.
Miller informed the President of his group’s plans in oil and gas exploration and exploitation, saying the cooperation with Viet Nam’s petrol businesses is at the core and it will create all possible conditions for them to operate in the country.
He expressed his hope to cooperate with Viet Nam in supplying liquefied petroleum gas in the long term
