Wide doors for foreign investors

PM Dung made the affirmation on October 29 in Ha Noi while receiving Vice Chairman of the US-ASEAN Business Council Keith Williams who is leading a delegation to Viet Nam for the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the council.
PM Dung praised the role and operation of the Council and its positive contributions to the relations between Viet Nam and the US, particularly in trade and investment.
“The Viet Nam-US ties have been progressing in all fields in which the robust growing of trade and investment has brought in practical benefits for the two sides,” said Mr. Dung.
The host leader suggested that the US-ASEAN Business Council support Viet Nam in the negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement taking into consideration practical conditions in Viet Nam.
The Vice Chairman said the delegation, consisted of a large number of American businesses, hopes to seek investment opportunities in Viet Nam.
He also promised to spare no effort to spur trade and investment linkages between the two countries./.
