VN congratulates Japanese Emperor’s birthday

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador to Viet Nam Hiroshi Fukada highlighted the fine relations between Viet Nam and Japan over the past time.
According to Mr. Hiroshi Fukada, the bilateral ties have witnessed great progress in various fields including economics, diplomacy and cultural exchanges.
Especially, up to 1,200 Japanese businesses are operating in Viet Nam and over 11,000 Japanese people are living in the Southeast Asian country. Meanwhile, around 65,000 Vietnamese have arrived in Japan for studying and working.
He said he hoped that the friendly and harmonious relations between Viet Nam and Japan would make positive contribution to regional peace and stability.
For his part, Deputy PM Phuc conveyed congratulations to Emperor Akihito and on the National Day of Japan.
The Deputy PM hoped that the two sides would foster linkages and uphold initiatives to reinforce mutual understanding and develop the strategic partnership./.
