Viet Nam, Laos promote one-stop shop model
VGP - Officials from the Vietnamese and Lao foreign ministries have inspected the Lao Bao-Densavan international border gate from February 13-16.
The border gate has
successfully deployed a new e-customs system, helping shorten waiting
time and increase accuracy during the procedure clearance process.
At the conference to speed up the implementation of the one-stop shop model, the officials discussed ways to upgrade infrastructure, equipment and techniques to ensure the application of the model.
Each country will establish a working group to guarantee the trial implementation at the gate before officially realizing the model on January 1, 2015.
