PM meets with Russian energy commission chief

PM Dung made the point on March 22 in Ha Noi while receiving Mr. Igor Sechin, Secretary General of the Russia National Energy Commission and Rosneft Chairman.
According to the host leader, energy cooperation is one of key pillars for the important, strategic and comprehensive ties between Viet Nam and the Russian Federation.
PM Dung praised the goodwill of the Russian largest oil company and the cooperative linkages between the PVN and Rosneft.
For his part, Mr. Igor Sechin took the occasion to seek further assistance of the Vietnamese Government for long-term investment in Viet Nam.
Rosneft operates in oil and gas exploration and exploitation and produces oil and petrochemical products. It boasts oil reserves of about 22.8 billion barrels.
The same day, State President Truong Tan Sang also hosted a reception to Rosneft Chairman Igor Sechin./.
