VN, Cuba promote friendship relations

(VGP – 27/03/2014) - PM Nguyen Tan Dung on March 26 (local time) visited the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples and the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association during his official visit to the Latin American country.

The Cuba-Viet Nam relationship is the symbol of the unyielding spirit and their determination of protecting independence, freedom and sovereignty, said a Cuban senior journalist at the meeting.
 
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, who is President of the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association and Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung, who chairs the Vietnamese section to the Viet Nam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee affirmed that they will do their utmost to strengthen the two nations’ relations.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung confirmed that Viet Nam will help Cuba overcome difficulties and promote their relationship sustainably.

PM Dung asserted that his official visit to Cuba aims to upgrade the Viet Nam-Cuba cooperative relations more deeply and effectively while speaking at   Viet Nam’s Embassy in Cuba on the same day.

He said he expected that the Embassy will accelerate the two sides’ relations in all fields, especially economics, trade, investment, agriculture and communications.

The PM laid wreaths at the Statue of Ho Chi Minh and the José Martí Memorial in the capital city Havana.
