PM Dung meets with Fidel during Cuba visit
(Vietnamplus - 28/03/2014) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung was received by Cuban leader Fidel Castro during his visit to Cuba from March 26-28.
The Granma, the official newspaper of the Cuban Communist Party, ran a story about the March 26 meeting on its front page on March 27, saying that the meeting took place in an atmosphere of fraternal feelings and mutual understanding.
The two sides discussed the ties between the two countries and experience of each country in socio-economic development.
PM Dung also exchanged views with the Cuban leader on the threat posed by climate change and imperialism.
Fidel took the occasion to share with the Vietnamese PM results of recent research projects on raising food output without using genetic modification
