Vietnam, China talk free navigation at Bac Luan river mouth
(VNA) - Vietnam and China held their fourth round of negotiations on an agreement regarding free navigation at the Bac Luan river mouth in Beijing from January 27-29.
Deputy Head of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s National Boundary Commission and Head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Department on Boundary and Ocean Affairs chaired the event.
Both sides extensively discussed existing differences in opinions and were able to reach agreement on several items.
They vowed to actively continue the negotiations towards the signing of the agreement later this year.
The talks took place in a friendly and frank atmosphere.
