DPM works with Singaporean legal agencies

VGP – Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc on May 11 held discussions with Singaporean representatives of the Ministries of Home Affairs and Law, Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau and Public Service Commission.

The Deputy PM hailed the effective developments in Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Partnership relations, especially in investment, trade and tourism, and appreciated Singapore's provision of technical assistance and training for Viet Nam.

He confirmed Viet Nam’s determination in preventing corruption and maintaining political stability and economic sustainability, adding that anti-corruption is closely attached to the establishment of a jurisdiction State, the renovation of organizations, the State administrative reform and the improvement of effectiveness of the whole political system.

Officials from the two nations exchanged measures on anti-corruption and experience on legal enforcement and the establishment of an administrative and public foundation.

The Deputy PM suggested the two sides sign agreements to launch specific cooperative activities in the future.
