The Cuban FM emphasized the importance Cuba attaches to the special, time-honored relationship with Viet Nam and highly valued Viet Nam’s efforts in fighting the pandemic and maintaining economic growth.

The two sides spoke highly of solidarity and support between the two countries in fighting the disease and exchanged experience in this regard as well as orientations and policies on economic recovery and social welfare post-COVID-19.

They also expressed their resolve to tighten the bilateral relationship and effectively and comprehensively implement the agenda on bilateral cooperation in 2020 and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
