Viet Nam, Turkey agree to boost bilateral ties

(Vietnamplus - 19/03/2014) - Viet Nam and Turkey have agreed to increase the exchange of delegations and improve their cooperation in trade, investment, labour, agriculture, education and training.

The agreement was reached during the third periodical political consultation between Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phuong Nga and Turkish Deputy FM Ome Onhon, who is paying a working visit to Viet Nam from March 18-20.

At the event, the two sides informed each other about their respective countries’ political and socio-economic situation. They expressed their delight at the rapid development of the multi-faceted cooperation between Viet Nam and Turkey, especially in trade.

Both sides were unanimous in accelerating negotiations for the signing of agreements on double taxation avoidance, aviation services and maritime transport.

They also agreed to continue consulting and supporting each other at international forums.
