Tatarstan helps strengthen VN-Russia ties
At the event, Deputy PM, FM Minh said that Viet Nam and Russia are excelling in a range of fields, such as trade, oil and gas, nuclear power and military techniques.
Mr. Minh highly hailed the visit to Viet Nam by the Tatarstan President, and believed that it is a good start for long-term cooperation between Tatarstan and a number of Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities.
Deputy PM Minh suggested Tatarstan put its available strengths forward for effective bilateral cooperation on education and training, scientific research, oil and gas, engineering, agriculture and tourism as the two sides boast huge potential for broader cooperation.
Mr. Minh thanked the Tatarstan government and people for creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese nationals to live and work in.
For his part, President Minnikhanov expressed his delight at visiting a hospitable Viet Nam which is developing dynamically and impressively.
He informed his host about the working results with some Vietnamese ministries and the outcomes of talks between Tatarstan businesses and Vietnamese partners.
President R.Minnikhanov said Tatarstan saw the potential to work with Viet Nam in many areas, avowing to devise concrete proposals to boost linkages and strengthen the Viet Nam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership.
