Viet Nam, Kuwait agree to lift up trade value to US$1 billion
(VGP) – Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on Monday thanked the Government and people of Kuwait for their good sentiments they have reserved for Viet Nam while he met with the Kuwait-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentarians Group, led by Chairman Khalil Abdulla Ali.
Deputy PM, FM Minh affirmed that Viet Nam always attaches importance to fostering the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Kuwait.
The two sides agreed to enhance the exchange of delegations at all levels, promote the bilateral cooperative mechanisms, including the Inter-governmental Committee, expand cooperation in oil and gas, trade, tourism, and coordinate closely at regional and international forums.
They also agreed to convene the second meeting of the Inter-governmental Committee and strive to lift up the trade value to US$1 billion./.
