DPM starts tours to South Africa
At his meeting with South African Minister of Science and Technology Grace Naledi Mandisa Pandor, the Deputy PM highlighted the role of science and technology in the economic restructuring and improvement of people’s livelihood in Viet Nam.
He praised the two nations’ ministries for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on science, technology and renovation, saying the MoU will pave the way for both to enhance cooperation in this potential area.
Minister Grace Naledi Mandisa Pandor introduced South Africa’s advantages in science and technology such as the application of biological technology in health, agriculture and energy and expected to accelerate cooperation with Viet Nam in this field for the sake of both.
Under the witnesses of Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai, leaders of the two ministries inked the MoU on science, technology and renovation.
In the upcoming days, Deputy PM Hai will meet with the South African President and hold talks with the Vice President.
