Viet Nam-Russia cooperative relations praised
(VNA) - Russia could help Viet Nam establish its atomic energy industry, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alexeyev on September 12.
Energy is a major cooperative sector between Russian and Viet Nam, he said, adding that trade between the two countries could reach more than 1 billion USD in 2005.
Viet Nam has been implementing 45 investment projects with the participation of Russian companies. Vietnamese businesses have established many companies operating in Russia.
Cooperation between Russia and Viet Nam in the fields of military science and technology has also been strengthened and promoted.
