IOM asked to help Vietnamese citizens in Mali

(VNA - 24/3/2012) - The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has asked the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) in Ha Noi and Mali to take measures to assist Vietnamese citizens in Mali in the face of the current unstable security there.
 

The MOFA has also suggested that agencies, organisations and individuals should tell their employees and relatives who are working and living in Mali to contact the IOM in Mali (Address: Hamdallaye ACI 2000, BP E 288, Bamako, Mali / Tel: + 223.2.029.7697 or +223.2.029. 7698) for being evacuated to safe areas or helped to return home in cases of emergency.
