(MOFA) - First Deputy Minister Bui Thanh Son says "Vietnam is proud to be an active and responsible member of ASEM over the past two decades".
The 12th Asia-Europe Forum Summit (ASEM 12) with the theme "Asia and Europe: Global Partners for Global Challenges", will take place from 18 to 19 October, 2018 in Brussels, Belgium.
On this occasion, First Deputy Minister Bui Thanh Son had an article in the World and Vietnam with the title: "Asia and Europe: Global Partners for Global Challenges".
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will lead a high-level delegation to attend this Conference.
Along with the ASEM 12 Summit, the Prime Minister will attend and contribute positively to a series of important multilateral conferences recently and from now to the end of the year such as WEF ASEAN, Mekong - Japan Conference, the annual meeting of IMF and WB, APEC, ASEAN, EAS Summit, Asia-Europe Parliamentary Conference ... as important steps to deploy the 12th Party Congress and Directive 25 on promoting and enhancing multilateral foreign relations and Vietnam's international position.
